My truck started getting overheated and I realized I had a radiator leak and then noticed transmission fluid in radiator.

Good afternoon,
Transmission fluid in the radiator tells me the cooler has failed.
You need to replace the radiator, flush the cooling system completely and flush the transmission as well.
As far as the chains, that is a separate issue. Can you upload a video of the noise that was described as the chains?
