On my way home from town I was in the highway going about 65 and my vehicle shook really bad. Once I got to my exit and slowed down it wasn't as bad and once, I got to my destination I popped the hood, and fluid was everywhere and the reservoir was almost empty.

After further inspection I noticed the brake fluid level is really low also. So, now I am not sure if it was power steering fluid or brake fluid.

Hi,

Power steering and brake fluid may be low, but I don't see how they would cause the vehicle to shake. Could the fluid you identified under the hood be engine coolant? If coolant leaks on something that is related to the powertrain control circuits, it could cause the engine to misfire and shake.

Let me know. Also, fill both the PS and brake fluid and see if it goes low. Make sure to check the engine coolant. If you can get a couple of pictures under the hood so I can see the location that is wet, it may be helpful.

Take care,

Joe
