Loss of power between 40 and 50 MPH

After warms up it seems to lose power but not completely. If I accelerate it seems to help. i been told several possible causes. trying to narrow it down I can't afford more than I actually need if possible. Thanks

It sounds like you have a weak fuel pump or a clogged fuel filter but to be sure we should run the codes, also can you tell me when the last fuel filter change was? it is has been awhile here are instructions on how to change it in the diagrams below.
