After driving my van for about 10-15 minutes or 20 miles sometimes less usually on a highway doing 55+ mph never seems to happen driving around town. It has no codes and does not overheat has a new fuel pump new plugs wires and coil pack. Had no evap leaks or vacuum cleaner leaks have fixed all of those problems in the past. I'm lost with what to do. I've spent a lot of time and money on this van and can't seem to find the problem. Only thing I can find out online so far is that maybe it has bad wire in harness, vapor lock (rare problem) or maybe the ECM. I have driven for over 50 miles non stop and no problems yet the next day it will happen again. It's very confusing sometimes it will have a rough idle sometimes it will not, but it seems to be getting worse. The van has been sitting for months now as we are trying to fix it only limited funds. Please help me. I need my van, I've got a big family and it's hard to drive them around in my small Nissan, lol.

Here is a guide that runs through this issue with common causes. Take a look at this and we need to start crossing them off the list.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/engine-stalls

When this happens does the vehicle restart with no issue or does it take a while? One common thing that happens with these vans was the ASD relay would fail when hot and cause the PCM to just shut the vehicle off and no codes would set.

Not only could the ASD relay cause this but the integrated power module has been known to do it as well. If it were me, I would go ahead and replace the ASD relay and then see if it reoccurs.

Let me know if you have questions. Thanks

When it happens the engine is still running just has no power and spits and putters and then will shut off and it has to sit awhile before able to drive again. It doesn't just shut down right away first I lose all power then it will spit and putter then stall. It is random and sometimes won't happen at all. I've had it idle for an hour with no issues and drive all around town, but as soon as I go 45+ on the hwy it will do this.I will do a wiggle test and change the relay and see. Just want to give you some more info as I just tried driving it after I messaged my question. Thank you

Sounds good. The other thing we need to do is check fuel pressure while this is happening.

I would suggest just hooking the gauge up and then taping it to the windshield so you can drive and then when it starts to happen you can just watch what it does.
