Random loss of acceleration

At random my truck will lose acceleration briefly then accelerate again, both in city and highway driving. Sometimes my brake lights stay on when the ignition is off.

These are two separate issues. The loss of acceleration will be addressed here and we will need to get a new post started for the brake light issue but that is most likely due to a brake switch sticking.

The hesitation is most likely a vacuum leak that is causing an issue until the engine is able to recover.
