I recently did an oil change. and yesterday I got a check oil level came on. When I checked it was a quarter low. There's no leaking anywhere. The oil pressure is good. Can you tell me what I should check for?

Hi,

If the engine has 300+K miles, it is likely burning the oil. Sometimes, you will see blue smoke from the exhaust and other times, it can be controlled via the crankcase ventilation system, drawn through the system, and burned. The catalytic converters can hide it.

I have a question. How many miles does it take for the engine to use a quart of oil?

Take a look through this link. You may find it helpful. I realize you aren't seeing a leak, but there are a lot of different places it can leak from.

Let me know.
