Keeping oil from coming out threaded hole?

There is a threaded hole right above my oil filter that goes into the engine that does not have a plug or anything keeping oil from coming out. What would that threaded hole be called?

That should be where an oil pressure sending unit goes into the block.

I agree with OCTANE1Z, here is the oil pressure sender location to see if it matches up. Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else.

Hi,

It sounds like you answered your own question. You are correct. That is where the oil pressure switch goes. I attached a picture below. Is that where you are referring?
