Loss of power

It is a pick up van. when I am driving up the car loses power vigorously to the point where I will end up driving in first gear, yet it will be struggling to go up the hill even if it is a soft hill. I did overhauled the engine, change TPS and idling control valve, but still no improvement.

To me it sounds like you have a plugged up catalytic converter.
