My vehicle loses power on hilly areas especially after driving for some distance. I have changed the fuel pump but the problem is still there.

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.com.

Often times, a plugged catalytic converter or partially plugged, will cause a power loss. Based on your description, that is my first suspect. However, you should consider testing fuel pressure to ensure there is not a restriction or an issue with the regulator.

Take a look through this. First is a description of the symptoms related to a catalytic converter problem and the second describes how to test.

Let me know if that helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,
Joe
