Hi,
It sounds like a low fuel pressure issue. Try this and let me know what happens:
1) Turn the key to the run position and count to 5.
2) Turn the key off and repeat step 1 three more times.
3) On the fifth try, see if it starts easily.

If it doesn't, I need to know if you can get your hands on a live data scan tool. We will need to check what the engine coolant temperature sensor is sending the correct temperature reading to the computer. If it is way off, the air-fuel mixture will make it difficult for the engine to start and could require starting fluid for it to start.
