Locksmith hooked jump start box to my car positive cable to my negative lead he pulled if right off after he realized what he did. Now my car will not start. What could he have done? What do I have to look for to get it back?

Good afternoon.

Does the car have any power at all? It may have blown the main fuse in the fuse block. It may be a 100 or 120 amp fuse.

It could have damaged other modules as well. Ground spikes are seriously bad for modules.

The locksmith is liable for all these repairs. You should have this taken to a shop of your choice and have it repaired on the locksmith's dime. He should also provide you with a rental car.

That is correct. If you have a test light or voltmeter, check both sides for power to verify.
