My key keeps getting stuck in my car. I think the lock cylinder is going bad. The part is not that expensive but my question is, will I have to get a new key and will it have to be programmed by the dealership because Ethan is expensive?

Hi,

Have you tried to lubricate the tumbler where the key goes in? I would do that first. If it still is bad, yes it will need programmed.

If you decide to do it, I attached the directions and pics specific to this vehicle below. Hopefully, they will help.

Try to lubricate it as I mentioned. Also, take a look through this link. It may help you.

Take care and let me know if you have other questions.
