Can I replace the trunk lock cylinder with a door lock cylinder?

Hi,

Unfortunately, they are different and can be interchanged by design. The OEM part number for the trunk is 15822404. The OEM part number for the door is 15782681.

I don't know if you need them, but I attached the directions for replacing the trunk lid lock cylinder.
