I was told there two temperature sensors and one is on the water pump in front of the engine but wasn’t able locate other one.

Hello,
In the diagrams down below I have included the diagrams for the Engine Coolant Temperature [ECT] sensor, that is used by the vehicle's Power-train Control Module [PCM], or "computer", and a diagram for the Temperature Gauge Switch, which is used for the temperature gauge. I hope that this helps.
Thanks,
Alex

Hello again,
This sounds like an intermittent electrical problem, which can be extremely hard to find, especially when it is not acting up. Get back to us when the problem raises it's head again, and we will try to fix it then.
Thanks,
Alex

Hello again,
The gauge should go down when the vehicle is shut off as there is no oil pressure.
