Hi,

I think I need to change the transmission oil pressure sensor, but I can't find it on my vehicle. Please help.

The oil line pressure sensor is in the valve body. Here is how to remove the valve body and replace the sensor.

Fill the transaxle with Mopar(R) ATF +4 Transmission fluid.

Check out the images (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

The piece that was suggested looks to be an external piece that goes on the side of the pump.

Goes on the side of the pump? I am not sure what you are saying here. The transmission pan must be removed to change the sensor out.
