Where is the transmission control module located?

Attempting to find the location of the transmission control module in a 2001 2500 Silverado 6.0. Truck acts as if it is stuck in second gear then will not shift, so I believe this may be the cause of the problem, therefore I would like to do some attempted resets of the TCM before it gets replaced.

Hi,

Two different transmissions were used. However, I believe both were mounted to the fan shroud (near the battery side). See pics below. There should be a cover over it to eliminate heat from the engine.
