I noticed a leak coming out of a freeze plug was wondering how many it has? And what plugs to use?

Good morning,
There are 4 on the block. 2 on each side.
I attached the parts as they are made of brass.
The access is not that easy but will require moving things to gain access.
I would replace all 4. If one is leaking the others are not far behind. They leak from rusting from the inside out due to excessive corrosion from the cooling system.

Mine are on the front and back side of the block. Does that make a difference on what freeze plugs to use?

No, it does not.
They take the same style plug.
A footnote. Do not use a rubber plug. They never hold and will fail and blow out of the block.

To repair the back plugs would I need to remove the motor?
