Trying to find where the actuator is. How difficult it would be to change it and is there a video of how it's done?

Good afternoon,

The blend door is under the right side of the dash. The one air duct has to be removed and then you can access the actuator.

Roy

1. Remove the RF floor air outlet.
2. Remove the I/P compartment.
3. Bend downward at the accordion section of the supply duct in order to remove the duct from the side air vent.

4. Disconnect the temperature actuator electrical connector.
5. Access the temperature actuator from the I/P compartment cavity.
The temperature actuator is located at the top of the HVAC module close to the I/P carrier.

Important: The actuator linkage may need to be rotated in order to access the screws for the following step.

6. Remove the actuator screws.
7. Remove the temperature actuator from the linkage.
8. Remove the temperature actuator from the vehicle.
