Location for Ambient Air Temperature Sensor?

Thought it was in the radiator did not see it from above and when I took the plastic undercover off didn’t see it.

You mean for the engine computer correct? the ambient air temperature sensor is in the air intake tube for the engine. Check out the images (below). Let me know how it goes

The sensor I have is for the replacement that’s on or near the driver side bumper on top of the radiator the smaller in front of the bigger radiator. Which route would be best to get to that?

So you need the location for the HVAC system reference which is called the outside air temperature sensor. here ya go. You might need to get to it from under the car. Thanks for the images they help.

Hmm bummer, it looks like you need to remove the top valance and maybe the bumper.
