I am trying to locate the blower fan Rheostat resistor, the fan speed selector only working on full blow, I managed to change the blower motor fan. I just need the location for the resistor.

Hi,

The blower motor resistor is right near the blower motor. You can't see it because it slides into the HVAC box.

If you look below, I attached the directions for replacing it. In the first pic, it shows the location. In pic 2, the extremely vague directions are provided. (LOL). It is straight forward, and you shouldn't have any trouble.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,

joe

Hi,

You are very welcome. I'm glad it helped. Were you able to get it replaced? If so, did it take care of the issue?

Let me know. If I don't hear from you, take care, and feel free to come back anytime in the future.

Hello , great help thank you so much, I managed to buy the resistor and fit it myself, very easy to install, funny side is the part I had fitted is actually belongs to Isuzu vehicle, which is identical to the Chevrolet Spark, it's working perfectly and was also half the price. many thanks.

Hi,

Thanks for the update. I'm glad to hear it is fixed. As far as the part, that doesn't surprise me. It seems to be getting more and more common.

Take care and feel free to come back anytime in the future.
