Linkage diagram

I am looking to find name or diagram of five speed so I can no the exact of what the parts are. But it only had the top gears of shift pattern witch were 1, 3, 5 and 2, 4, R, did not work. And just now when I went to put in first the gear would not catch any gears at all. I took off the center console to look under at the shifter. And the part looks like a type of air shock (compared look is like a screen door air shock).
