It just has a plastic bushing that goes over a pin on the trans shifter. Do you need info on the kick-down linkage? Let me know. Also, because of the type of cable it is, there is nothing on it that is adjustable. So, it has to be at a mount or at the shifter in the steering column.
Let me know if you need the kick-down info and I'll dig into things to see if I can find how it's attached in the column.
Let me know. Note that the Ram 50, which is basically the same vehicle, was no longer offered in the US after 1993. That's where I'm running into trouble. Plus, there is little to no info on the shift linkage.
If possible, take pics of the areas you are having trouble with and upload them for me. Between the two of us, we'll figure things out. Also, let me know exactly what is happening.
