w can i find out if there is a short in the electrial system

Hi there,

Check the current draw first, do this by disconnecting the battery Pos (+) and fitting an Amp meter between the battery and the cable, (don't try to start car like this or you will fry the gauge) if current draw is below .3 that is ok. Be careful about where you buy your batteries, cheap batteries are just that, and many wont last 1 year, especially in sever cold conditions.
