I just purchased this 2002 Lincoln Town Car. When I pushed down on the gas pedal there is a "humming" sound that comes from (it sounds like) the rear of the car. (Let up on the pedal and the sound goes away) Dealer states this is normal on RWD Lincolns and will not get any worse. "Lincoln is aware of the problem but does not deem it to be anything of concern or warrantable. Bearing? Transmission? The guy at the dealership wasn't very helpful. Anyone else having this problem?
