Electrical problem
2000 Lincoln Town Car V8 All Wheel Drive Automatic

We salvaged a mirror off of another Lincoln and we don't know how to reconnect the wires inside the door? Its a 2000 Lincoln Towncar Signature Edition.
We don't wanna break the interior panels of the car (like the one we salvaged from). Could I get a door diagram?

Well we solved our own problem and for anyone this might be easier for you also. We knew the wires for the mirror went straight down in the door from the mirror.
So we took a hole saw and drilled a hole about where the connection would be (determined by new mirrors wire length). And wahlaa, found the wires and used my sons small hand to reach inside and connect the two.
And covering the hole with duck tape (because it fixes everything). So if you don't know how to get into the door try our way?

I too need to install a new mirror after breaking mine off. How exactly do you disassemble the door panel? I don't want to by any means drill! What is the right way to do this? This would be very helpful thank you!
