1999 Lincoln Town Car V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Tried to replace my non working speedo cluster,but the car will not start with the used unit i bought.Any tips?

You may have replaced the wrong part...did you scan for the "B" codes? Failure may be elsewhere.
