1997 Lincoln Town Car No rear shocks....

Suspension problem
1997 Lincoln Town Car 6 cyl Automatic 130000 miles

Im looking to buy this 97 town car but the guy told me that he put new rear air bags on the car but they didnt put the shocks back on... He said that he has the shocks in the trunk. Is this a big deal?

yes even with air bags shocks are needed. have him reinstall them.....if they are air shocks and they were broken and to exspensive to fix as alot are, go to www.strutmasters.com, then make a kit that puts a spring on them to cure the problem.
