Car has been used exclusively in dry Southern, Ca. I am about to take a trip to Arizona in heat of 100 degrees F. Should all of the hoses be changed as a precaution and approximately how much would that cost. Should the water pump also be changed and its approximate cost. There has been no leaks or signs of cracking of the rubber hoses.

You are at a mileage where the hoses and entire cooling system should at least be inspected. If they have never been changed, I would recommend changing the rubber hoses. As far as the water pump is concerned, I don't think it should be automatically changed but should be inspected carefully for any signs of coolant seepage from the vent hole.
