My A/C unit is working but no air is blowing from the vents. I checked under the hood and the compressor is turning and the condenser is cold, you can even feel cold coming from the vents, but the blowers won't turn on. The fuses to the climate control and the blowers are not burned out. What can be the problem?

TEST "J" (BLOWER MOTOR INOPERATIVE) 1. Check Blower Motor Operation & Voltage Start engine. Select MAX A/C. If blower motor runs, go to TEST "A". If blower motor does not run, turn ignition off. Unplug Blower Speed Controller (BSC) connector. Start engine. Select MAX A/C. Measure voltage between terminals No. 4 (Orange/RED wire) and No. 2 (Purple/White wire) of BSC connector. 2. If voltage is 10 volts or more, go to next step. If voltage is less than 10 volts, check for blown fuse, faulty Orange/RED wire between blower motor and BSC, or faulty Brown/Orange wire between instrument panel fuse box and blower motor. 3. Check Power Supply To Blower Motor Reconnect BSC connector. Unplug blower motor connector. Set blower motor thumbwheel to highest speed setting. Measure voltage between Orange/RED wire and Brown/Orange wire terminals of blower motor connector. If voltage is 10 volts or more, replace blower motor. If voltage is less than 10 volts, go to next step. 4. Check Voltage At BSC Unplug BSC connector. Rotate blower motor thumbwheel to highest speed setting. Measure voltage between terminals No. 2 (Purple/White wire) and No. 1 (Black wire) of BSC connector. If voltage is 10 volts or more, replace BSC. If voltage is less than 10 volts, go to next step. 5. Check Voltage At EATC Module Turn ignition off. Reconnect BSC connector. Start engine. Select MAX A/C. Rotate blower motor thumbwheel to highest speed setting. Measure voltage between ground and terminal No. 9 (Purple/White wire) of EATC module connector (backprobe terminal). If voltage is 10 volts or more, repair Purple/White wire between EATC module and BSC. If voltage is less than 10 volts, replace EATC module. © 2007 Mitchell Repair Information Co., LLC.
