1995 Lincoln Town Car laying down under full throttle

I recently went on a trip 900 miles round trip the car ran perfectly but since I have got back the car developed a miss I found a bad plug wire on number 8 I changed plugs and wires with original motorcraft parts from dealer the miss is gone but when you accelerate it runs fine up to 3/4 throttle if you give it full throttle it just lays down an will not accelerate. Perplexed s.C.

Ok did you gap the plugs to the proper gap? If not then you need to ok. Did you check the timing? I also need to know if you have a digital multi meter to test the tps with. Get back to me and we will go from there.
