Traveling at 50-55 MPH, engine quiet & smooth. No noise at all, engine stalls, dash lights up. Pulled over & tried to start but engine just spins. Pulling it up on the flatbed I noticed oil leaking from the oil pan Found later it was very low on oil from loose drain plug. Engine had no tapping sound, nothing. Could there be a failsafe or something to protect the engine in a situation like this? Computer reset? Where is the computer? No hand scanner available. I'm on soc sec and cannot donate at the moment.
