1994 Lincoln Town Car dead battery

a new battery was installed in march 09 but car sat for five months with out being started,no the battery is dead. Can I charge the battery back ti life?

Hi there,

Yes this will be fine, bench charge the battery and get it load tested as well just to make sure that all is fine.

how long should I place the charger on and should I disconect pos/neg cables.

Remove both cables, charge it over night and clean the post before hooking up tom ensure that you have a good clean & tight connection.
