I have a 1994 Lincoln Town Car Executive Series, and I have a problem with the car dieing out on me. Its done it on mutiple different occassions in different situations. One of the situations is I was sitting at a stop light and it was one of those light that took a little extra before it turned green. The car gave no inclination that it was going to die. Matter of fact I hadn't realized that the vehicle had died until I went to step on the gas and nothing happen. Thats when I realized the vehicle had died. I waited approximately 5 minutes maybe a little longer and it started right back up. The other time that the vehicle had died on me is I was driving and went to pass another vehicle and accelerate and it died again. Same thing again though waited about five minutes or longer and it started right back up again. Same things like tonight on my way to work was slowing down because of a red light but didn't quite get all the way there and the vehicle died. And then waited again about 5 minutes or long and it started right back up.
Thanks

Hi joshua_day25, Welcome to 2carpros and TY for the donation

Do below and get back with some testing results we start here-Do you have a check engine light?

Next time it refuses to start don't wait for it to make up its mind-do below immediately to determine if its fuel or spark problem

Get a helper disconnect a sparkplug wire or 2 and ground it to the engine atleast 3/16 away from ground-have helper crank engine over-do you have a snapping blue spark? If so-you have a fuel related problem, Do you hear the fuel pump come On when you turn key on? If not check fuel pump fuse and fuel pump relay if so, check the fuel pressure to rule out the fuel filter/fuel pump/pressure regulator and listen to the injector/s are they pulsing or hook up a noid light. No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs, coil's resistances, cap and rotor, distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors and computer Note: If it doesn't apply disregard it and keep testing

Yes the Check Engine Light Is on That was one of the things that I forgot to mention. I just replaced the o2 sensor on the vehicle and at first it seemed to fix the problem but now I'm back in the same boat were I was before.
