1994 Lincoln Town Car A/C Does not work

The air conditioner started blowing hot air and then cold and then stopped working. I charged the system and still the compressor does not come on. I checked to see if it had an error code and none appeared. The compressor does not appear to turn on, any suggestions?

Use a test light and see if you have power at the compressor, if yes, grab a used one for 50.00 or so at the bone yard...
