my car s idle is high and when i put in park or neutrol it revs veryvery high is this a transmision problem

Probably not, it's more likely to be a throttle cable, or throttle body problem. Remove the cable and see if it will idle normally, if it will, replace the throttle cable. Turn key to off, check that the throttle will close all the way, if a chunk of carbon is wedged in the throttle, or the Idle air control valve, it will not idle correctly.
