I have had my radeator back-flushed two times, replased the termastat, and put in a new water-pump. The heater only blows out warm air. It blue out hot air before I took it in to be worked on, ( the water looked like mud) I don't have the money to replace the core. Is there anything that I can do my slef. Or can I replace the core myslef. Don't know how though.

If you havent done one, a Lincoln isnt a good one to learn on...but if you do it, just remember, the a/c and heat are disconnected and the entire plenum is removed....this requires some dash removal, support removal, Then once you have done that and get the plenum out, you need to remove the top of the plenum to access the core. If the heat was OK b4 the car was worked on, look for broken or disconnected vacuum lines at the thermal blower lock out, it's spliced into the inlet hose of the heater core, if this isn't working, you wont have good heat!
