my friend has a 89 lincoln towncar and the starter went out. i put a new starter on it but now its only staying running for so long and the car completly shuts off. we took it to the shop and put a test kit on it and when they put the tester on the battery the voltage pulls all the way from 15 volts to about 9 volts flat. in a matthers of seconds and i know it cant be grounded any where cause i only change the started. can someone please help.
