Does a bad idler pulley cause a clicking noise? What is a reasonable price for this repair? Thanks

a clicking noise can be caused by a abad idler pulley or a broken piece on a belt. If it is the pulley on the tensioner that can cost anywhere from $60 -120 plus probably an our labor to repair. Labor costs can vary though , any reputable shop will give you a price before repairing.
