I have lincoln aviator, often when the car is parked and the engine is not on but the key is in the ignitions, I will get a message that the oil pressure is low. When I start the car the message does go away on its own. Should I be concerned. It also does this with a low tire pressure. But that disapears after driving for a while.

Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge,if normal replace the oil pressure switch. If abnormal could mean oil pump and engine bearing.
