2004 Other Lincoln Models Brake lights wont work

Car will not shift out iof gear

Check the fuses, especially the fuse for the STOP lights. If OK then check brake light switch. Shift interlock for the gear selector is on same circuit so if brake lights fail then so will the shift interlock.
