Electrical problem
1998 Lincoln Mark VIII V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 114K miles

I would like to get it operable again. have no idea how to "tackle" the problem.

Hi, thanks for the donation. The green wire is voltage for brake lite, brown wire for tail lamp, trunk lid. Black is ground. I'd use a testlite check for voltage on brown wire. Should go hot wnhen you turn on lite switch.
