Engine misfire?

My Son, was driving the car to the gas station and it began to quiver. Then the Check Engine Light Came on. He do not want to drive it, and take a chance that will stall. What can it be? Do you know anyone who will do a engine scan Free or Low price near Southfield, Michigan? Thank you And "Be Blessed" Pastor D. Satterwhite

Hello,

Since the check engine light is on. First step would be to get it scanned. You can take it to your local Autozone, O'reilly, Napa or any other parts store and they will scan it for you. Just let us know what is the code.
