2000 Lincoln LS horn on steering wheel not working

2000 Lincoln LS V8 Front Wheel Drive Automatic

remote alarm works but horn does not sound when alarm is enganged to lock doors car was checked by several auto repair shops who could not find the answer to my problem.

the alarm system activates the horn through a different circuit than the steering wheel button.

First check the fuse for the horn then check the contacts behind the horn button on the steering wheel. If they check out, probe the wiring from those buttons to the fuse box.
