2000 Lincoln LS drive side A/C blow hot

When the a/c is on the drive side blow hot and alittle cold and the passenger side is cold, what could possible be the problem? I ran the self diagnostic test and i believe this is a code but not sure 88, 8 -188, 8 if this is a code could you tell me what it is. Also where can i get a repair manual for 2000 Lincoln LS?
