got a 1976 Lincoln Continental Town Coupe.
engine 460 CID
RWD
104K Miles

1. after engine warmup, in idle the RPM goes up and down rough.
new plugs and ignition system.
Carb rebuilt and new fuel pump.

2. durring rough acceleration, the air clamp change position and let hot air in. when releasing the acceleration, the air resume to normal cold air.

if this is a question about A/C...check the "coffee Can" that a single black vacuum hose plugs into on the drivers side fender. This is the vac reservoir for the A/C system!
