1998 Lincoln Continental Overhead Map Lights

When the car comes to a stop, the overhead map lights come on. WHen you start rolling again, they go out. Seems it may be tied to the auto door lock system which locks the doors when the car starts moving.

Sounds like a problem with the BCM (body control module). Need to have it scanned to see if it has stored any codes

Can you buy a BCM and install it or does it require programming etc. or does a dealer have to install and program.
