My mechanic was unable to source two parts that I need to repair my 1997 Lincoln Continental.

1 - Intake Manifold Runner Actuator
2 - Canister Purge Control Valve

It's a big garage and they will not remember me if I call them back. I have not had any luck finding parts with this exact description, but I would assume that another Ford product would share the same piece.

I would like to try to buy these parts online.

Would a 97 Crown Victoria be the same? How about a Mercury Grand Marquis?

Also, I see that there is probably an upper and a lower intake manifold. Which one would have the "Runner Actuator", and would I have to buy the whole manifold to get it? (I think that is also called the "Runner Control".)

Any help would be tremendous. I can not find either part online.

Thanks.

Realistically I only see two choices. Call the dealer (preferred) and get the parts or Call Scrapyards for them. I am not aware of an aftermarket company in eith case. Scrapyards will have the books to tells which ones fit be used in more than one application.
