1997 Lincoln Continental V8 Automatic 100600 miles

My door ajar warning light stays on even when all four doors are securely closed. We think that it is the rear drivers side door. Is there some kind of sensor that needs to be replaced?

first try lubricating the door latch in the door jambs with some WD40, the door ajar switch may be sticky in one of the doors.
