1992 Lincoln Continental no power

I just bought a 92 this car i don't get any dash board light's.Car will start when i jump it off the soilinod but im not sure if it is the ground wire going to the starter or maybe something else.I just put a new starter in it.do you have any suggestions?

If it does start for you at the solenoid
then the starter and its wiring good
you need to investigate the switch and wiring
check ignition switch check neutral safety switch check wiring for short
good luck
