1992 Lincoln Continental 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I bought i new altenator and a battery and i have had them checked if they were ok and they were but the charge light still comes on and i dont know what else could be the problem i hope that yall can give me some tips

I to have had this issue many moons ago ! It turned out to be a FUSE under the hood inside that lil black box by the battery. Good luck fellow wrencher !!
